I love books about LOVE. I can't help it, they are just my thing. While I am not a reader who minds a bit of language or wild scenes in a book, I still REALLY appreciate when an author can write a book that is amazing while still being a clean read. That is why I have a special blog label for the ones that fall into the category of a clean read.
For this giveaway I have a SIGNED copy of Shannon Hale's Midnight in Austenland, which in case you are wondering is a clean, sweet, and sassy read.

Austenland AND Midnight in Austenland get my vote for my favorite clean read. I LOVED them both.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I love the Summer series by Jenny Han!
ReplyDeleteA clean romance book is always hard to find - of course I guess that depends on what is considered a "romance". According to my dad, any movie where a boy and a girl get together is considered a chick flick. Maybe I can apply that to books too...or maybe not...
ReplyDeleteThe first book that came to mind (sadly I read more "unclean" romance than I do "clean" so it took some thought) was North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell. An oldie, but a goodie!
Great book to giveaway!
ReplyDeleteOk, so this time I read what I was supposed to comment ABOUT! Haha. You can delete the last one.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to pick a favorite sweet clean romance novel. I love "Austenland" and this one of course but I also loved "I now pronounce you someone else" and the "Dairy Queen" series. So, I'm gonna put my top ones instead of my favorite because it's too hard to pick!
Born Wicked, it's a very pretty, "Austen" like romance that I enjoyed very much :-)
ReplyDeleteI can't think of just one title I would prefer over another. I do like sweet clean romance, Christian fiction/Amish fiction are favorites of mine, though.
ReplyDeleteI can't WAIT to read Midnight in Austenland!!!

ReplyDeleteFlat-Out Love by Jessica Park. I loved it:)
I just finished what probably isn't a "clean" romance novel, but it was amazing so I'm listing it anyway! "Pushing the Limits" by Katie McGarry. It deals with a lot of real life problems (hence maybe not 'clean?'), but the romance is so genuine and so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI love Janette Rallison chick-flicks. They are sweet clean and delightful!

Thanks for the giveaway! I just finished reading Stuck by Jennifer Bosworth. There was some innocent romance in there - great book by the way! Highly recommended.
ReplyDeleteHavent read one of "those" in so long i cant give you a title sadly. However i agree with whomever posted before me a sweet Amish read eould probably be the one.
ReplyDeleteI think my fave is Persuasion.
ReplyDeleteThe River of Time series, for sure! Hands down some of best books I've ever read. Thanks for the giveaway!

ReplyDeleteMy fav is The Time Travelers Wife
ReplyDeletePersuasion
ReplyDeleteMy favorite (mostly) clean novel is The Fault In Our Stars. A completely clean one would have to be Statistical Probability. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I have a favorite, however, I really liked Star of the Morning by Lynn Kurland.
ReplyDeleteI don't really have a favorite sweet romance, but I do like Kay Springsteen's books.
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating in the hop and for the giveaway opportunity.

ReplyDeleteI'm giving away Austenland on my hop. Haven't read the new one yet. Yay!
ReplyDeleteI love classic love stories like Mr Darcy & Lizzy, Jane & Mr Rochester, The Scarlet Pimpernel & Marguerite.
I guess it would have to be Call of the wolf, Thanks for the great giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what you are calling clean, I don't recall finding a book recently that I've read that is free of steam and curse words. Sorry!
