YOUNG ADULT GIVEAWAY HOP: SIGNED COPY OF DIVERGENT

A couple weeks ago I got a paperback copy of Divergent signed to give away to one lucky reader. I am giving it away this week!

Veronica Roth gave the best advice about writing. She said you should do it because you enjoy it and have a love for writing, not because you want to get a book published. I am paraphrasing here (hence the absence of quotes), but I thought that she shared the most obvious yet most overlooked answer to the question: "What advice would you give aspiring authors?"

  12. Ashfall. I was very wary about the cover bc it was black and white and looked like something that should be in the guys book section of the library.
But after reading it a third of the way through, I was really into it. It was captivating on so many levels. I really hope I win this!!!!!

  18. I really liked Valor and Dare from the Greystone series by Taylor Longford. I was skeptical because the covers look like they came from the 70's, but the books are really good. Why they don't have hot young gargoyles on the covers I'll never know.

  31. The Forsaken by Lisa Stasse. The cover is slighly odd and doesn't make any sense until you read the book, then you realize that it has symbolic meaning in relation to the story. Thanks for the giveaway!

  32. Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McQuire. The first cover with the mouth with the tongue sticking out and all the weird Dante like art. I hated that cover. I wm glad they changed it.

  43. One of my all-time favorite books is The Long Road Home by Danielle Steel but the cover had an hour-glass on it which I didn't get. Most of her older covers were blah but they're getting better. Another favorite is Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult but, again, the cover could have been better.
